How to Book a House

Simply tell us how many people are in your group and we will show you around our houses in the West End of Lincoln. When you’ve found the right house we will reserve it for you for 24 hours during which time you will join us in our office to review the tenancy paperwork and sign the Agreement.  

Booking procedure

When your group has chosen a house you will be invited to our office at 12 Newland.  

IMPORTANT: please bring along proof that you are / will be a full time student and your Right to Rent idenfication. 

Each prospective tenant will be asked to:  

  • Watch a short presentation, explaining our tenancies and booking procedure.
  • Complete an Application Form
  • Sign a Letter of Intent which outlines the key terms of the tenancy.  
  • Provide a Holding Deposit of £70.
  • Provide ‘Right to Rent’ identification
  • Provide  proof that you will be a full-time student during the tenancy (eg Student ID card)
  • Provide a completed Letter of Guarantee with supporting ID
    • This will be posted to your proposed Guarantor after you have submitted the Application Form. It is your responsibility to ensure it is completed and returned within 7 days.

Signing the Tenancy Agreement

Within 6 months of the start of the tenancy you will be invited back to our office to sign the Tenancy Agreement.

If any tenant fails to satisfy these requirements West End Student Properties Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking.  The £70 holding deposit will not be refunded.
